Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before booking with Hotel Ariyen. By making a booking, you agree to these terms.
1. Booking Rules
- Bookings are confirmed only upon receipt of advance payment as agreed via WhatsApp or phone
- All prices are per person in Indian Rupees (INR) and include the services listed in each package
- Group discounts may be available for 10+ guests — contact us for a custom quote
- Hotel Ariyen reserves the right to modify itineraries due to weather, forest department orders, or safety concerns
2. Payment Policy
- An advance payment is required to confirm your booking (amount communicated at time of booking)
- Balance payment is due upon arrival at the hotel
- We accept cash and UPI payments
- All prices are subject to change without prior notice for new bookings
⚠️ Your booking is only confirmed after advance payment is received and acknowledged by our team.
3. Cancellation & Refund Policy
- 7+ days before arrival: Full refund of advance payment
- 3–6 days before arrival: 50% refund of advance payment
- Less than 3 days before arrival: No refund
- No-show: No refund
In case of forest closure by the West Bengal Forest Department, natural calamities, or government-imposed restrictions, we will offer full rescheduling or a complete refund.
4. Tour Conditions
- All tours are subject to forest department permissions and prevailing weather conditions
- Wildlife sightings (including tigers) cannot be guaranteed
- Guests must follow all forest department rules and guide instructions at all times
- Guests must remain within designated safe zones during boat safaris
- Alcohol consumption is strictly prohibited in forest areas
- Littering in the forest is prohibited and may result in tour termination without refund
5. Liability Disclaimer
- Hotel Ariyen is not liable for injuries, illness, or loss of personal belongings during the tour
- Guests participate in boat safaris and forest tours at their own risk
- Hotel Ariyen is not responsible for delays caused by weather, forest department decisions, or transport disruptions
- We strongly recommend travel insurance for all guests
⚠️ Guests with serious medical conditions should consult a doctor before visiting Sundarban. Children must be supervised by adults at all times, especially near water.
6. Health & Safety
- Guests are responsible for carrying personal medications
- Insect repellent is strongly recommended
- Guests must inform us of any medical conditions or allergies at the time of booking
- Hotel Ariyen reserves the right to refuse service to guests who are intoxicated or behave in a manner that endangers others
7. Photography
Personal photography is permitted throughout the tour. Commercial photography, videography, or drone usage requires prior written permission from the West Bengal Forest Department. Hotel Ariyen is not responsible for obtaining such permits.
8. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in South 24 Parganas, West Bengal.
